Wooden Nickels
Everyone may receive a wooden nickel with the purchase of an item. To receive that wooden nickel, the item must be over $6 before taxes are added. If the employee does not give out a wooden nickel, you may ask for it before you leave the counter. You may not have received one because of other reasons. You may not come into a Wooden Nickel Music location after you didn't get a nickel and ask for one. When wooden nickels are redeemed, you must have ten (10) to get $5 off One item. You can only use ten wooden nickels per item. If you purchase more than one item, you may use ten wooden nickels per item. You do not receive wooden nickels for an item that you use ten wooden nickels on. Sorry, college students do not receive wooden nickels when they use a college ID on a purchase.
Returns
If you have a problem with a disc that you have gotten at one of our stores, please bring it into the Wooden Nickel location that you bought if from. Wooden Nickel Music does not give cash or credit card refunds.
Unopened CD's
If for some reason you need to return an unopened CD, please bring it in
with your receipt. We can take it back for the purchase price and
allow you to find another item for equal value. We can not give a
refund for the entire or partial price of the item.
Opened CD's
If a CD that was purchased was purchased new and was then opened, we can
not refund it for the purchase price. If that CD has a defect on
it, you may need to show us where on the CD it skips. CD's that
look as though they have obvious consumer damage on them will not be
refunded. The defective items will only be replaced with an
identical copy of that item.
Used CD's and
DVD's
Because these items may have been purchased defective, they are
generally accepted with more ease. You may need to again show a
representative where the error is located at and then a refund may be
received. Because many of the used CD's are not always in stock,
the defected item may be replaced with any item that is the same price
as the defective item
